What Should I Expect?
Scripture Recitation
Listen to the uplifting sound of Scripture being recited from memory throughout the day. God's Word is the focal point of this event, and will remain at the center throughout the day.
Wonderful Bible Teaching (Janet Pope)
Before we get caught up in the methods and techniques, Janet will open God's Word to remind us the heart behind what we desire most - to know and be known by God!
Small Group Breakouts
Everyone who joins will be placed in a small group to get to know other attendees, share tips for memorizing, and maybe even recite some of what you've internalized.
"Internalization" vs Memorization (Keith Ferrin)
Bible teacher Keith Ferrin first introduced our community to the idea of "internalizing" the Bible instead of memorizing it. Keith will join us on stage to explain what this means as we approach new passages of Scripture.
Story & Movement in Memory (Dr. Dinkins)
Follow along as Dr. Larry Dinkins uses movement and the techniques of storytelling to explore Bible memorization from a different angle. By the end, you'll have a new portion of Scripture memorized and ready to tell to your family!
How to Create a Memory Palace (Josh Summers)
Have you ever wanted to learn the mind palace technique? Join Josh as we turn the event space into our own palace and memorize a passage together.
Intro to the History of Biblical Text (TBD)
Where did the 66 books of the Bible come from, and how can we be confident that what we're memorizing is what God intended as His Word? Learn the history behind the original texts, recent discoveries and what this all means for our Bible.
Panel Discussion - Methods of Memory & Review
Learn from a panel of people who use multiple methods for memory and review (rote, apps, music, mind palace, etc.) as they discuss the various pros and cons and even take questions from the audience!

FAQs
Where is the Event?
Scripture Sync is taking place at Woodcreek Church in Richardson, TX (USA).
Were should I stay?
We've negotiated an event rate at the nearby Hampton Inn and Suites which also includes transportation to and from Woodcreek Church for the Scripture Sync event.
Will there be food?
Tickets include lunch on Saturday, and we will try our best to accommodate any food allergies. There will be finger foods and coffee in the morning and snacks in the afternoon, but breakfast and dinner are not included.
How many people will be at this event?
The event space is limited to 200 people, so once these tickets are sold, we will not be able accommodate more people.
Will there be a livestream?
Yes! We recognize that not everybody in our global community will have the time and means to travel to Dallas, so we will be providing a livestream that is free for our Patrons and will be a paid ticket for everyone else. More details to come.
Is my ticket refundable?
Yes! All tickets are 100% refundable up to 2 weeks prior to the event. Simply send us an email explaining that you can no longer join us and we'll issue a full refund.
